Well, at least the considerable time, money and effort collecting and organising the library data will not be wasted. Oh, wait, yes it will.

That's a shame.  But also not the whole story so I understand.  I was at a vendor just a couple of weeks ago that is testing chucks of the 'EPA library' in certain set assays.  The results are to be made public when the studies are complete.  Pesticides are part of the series being tested.
