Starting in 2005, Alstry started warning about the upcoming housing crisis.  For two years he blogged and blogged and blogged...providing data after data after data.......and he was ridiculed the entire time and told how wrong he was....once by a Federal Reserve Economist at dinner.

Until 2007......

Then in 2009 he started warning about the government crisis.....for two years he blogged and blogged and blogged.....providing data after data after data.....and he was ridiculed the entire time and told how wrong he was......once by the Former President of The Federal Reserve who is a neighbor.....

Until 2011......

Saw an interesting show on PBS last night.

I think it was called the 22nd centruy.

One thing they talked about that caught my attention was their belief that by then, there would be one World Wide Brain, "WWB", as they called it, where all people would have a brain implant that would allow everyone to be connected like a living internet.

While they showed many interesting developments that were taking place today (primarily in the medical enginering field), that they felt would make this possible one day; I found myself siding with one of their critics who felt that this would rob us of much of our humanity.

Just because we are able to do something technologically, doesn't mean we should.

JMO and worth exactly what I am charging for it.

Have a nice day.

The reason no one takes you seriously is that you don't provide good data.  You provide a couple of random headlines as proof of whatever doomsday you are advertising that day.  You are also constantly telling everyone that computers are going to take everyones job which also hurts your credibility.
