All the perplexities, confusion and distresses in America arise not from defects in the constitution or confederation, nor from want of honor or virtue, as much from downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit, and circulation.

Hi Shunfeng,

Thanks so much for posting. Your financial insight is second to none, and I can't wait to buy handbags and sunglasses for the Great Depression.

Sinch,

Thanks for your threads, they have been very helpful over the recent years and have helped me become more aware of the PM world.  Given that there appears to eb a backlog in acquiring silver from dealers, I think now is a really good time to own shares in silver miners.  I can see there value increasing as a result in this silver shortage

Chris, unfortunately, people like Adams are not in power now (which is the fault of the people). The people get what they deserve.

Do you have an opinion of FR.TO?

Precisely! We need to take some responsibility as a PEOPLE for our elected officials. Who's fault is it that we have the tabloids and mind-numbing TV shows? The people who watch them... some of them may even be people we know... maybe even personally.

Wouldn't it be awesome, if when SLW starts paying dividends, we could opt to take the payment in silver, physically delivered?

Can we at least pitch this idea to them somehow? It would solve the problem of dealers not having silver when we want it. To make it cost efficient, I'd be willing to get a goldmoney.com account and they'd physically deliver it to their vault and credit me. (not a customer, yet)

Putting real coin into the hands of Americans again would certainly have a salutary effect on their understanding of money, inflation, and morality.

I did have a fairly close look this week. I'm a fan! :) Ultimately, copying aspects of the SLW business model may well come into vogue, but Sandstorm has a nice head start here.
