Thursday's 52 Week Highs and Lows

Today saw 219 instances where 52 week lows were set and 10,011 instances of new 52 week highs were set.  A total of 16 stocks set new lows and 515 stocks set new highs.

Among the lows, the biggest loser was USA Technologies Inc ( USAT ) which was down 21.7% with a total of 216,266 shares traded.

Among the highs, the biggest winner was Pinnacle Data Systems Inc ( PNS ) which was up 76.12% with a total of 41,805 shares traded.

As an engineer I am always fascinated by numbers.  For the first three days of this week we saw an average of 515 stocks hitting new highs and today saw exactly 515 stocks hitting new highs.  Odd coincidence.

So far this week we have seen an average of 18 new lows each day and 515 new highs compared to last weeks average of 17 lows and 507 highs.

This week a total of 52 stocks have set new lows and 1,414 stocks have set new highs. 

There have been no stocks that hit new lows every day this week but both Monsanto ( MON ) and USA Technologies Inc ( USAT ) have seen new lows on three of the four days.

There have been 19 stocks that have set new highs every day this week.  They are ALB, AXTI, COP, CPLA, DCTH, HTLF, INHX, KAMN, KEX, LEG, LEI, MOLX, NG, NOA, PRTS, SCVL, SLW, THMD and TLI.
