Lebanon was the country that Jesus came to party and turned the water into wine at a wedding.

The Lebanese recently voted in a Pro Western government as described in this weekend's WSJ:

Lebanese prime minister-designate Saad Hariri started efforts at forming a new government over the weekend, following his election victory earlier this month over an opposition backed by Hezbollah.

Lebanon's president tapped Mr. Hariri on Saturday to cobble together the country's next cabinet, a task that many analysts expect to be as difficult as the June 7 parliamentary election. Despite some polls predicting big gains by the opposition, Mr. Hariri's Western-backed coalition managed to hold onto its majority in parliament.

Quietly the Isrealis have been building up forces on their boarder with Lebanon:

BEIRUT: The Israeli Army stepped up its presence along the border with Lebanon deploying armored tanks and setting up fortifications as it intensified airspace violations in the area, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported Thursday. In “unusual military activity,” the Israeli Army deployed Merkava tanks and soldier carriers, among other armored vehicles, along the barb-wired fence separating Shebaa Farms from liberated Lebanese territories, the NNA said.
 
Israeli tanks were also amassing along a 5-kilometer area, stretching from Tallat Sobaih army post to Jabal al-Sheikh observatory. Sporadic gunfire was also heard throughout the day, the NNA report said.
 
Meanwhile, the Israeli Air Force carried out several flights over the regions of the Shebaa Farms, Al-Arqoub villages, Hasbaya, Marjayoun, Western Bekaa and Iqlim al-Tuffah. Israeli helicopters were also spotted over the Shebaa Farms between 6 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
 
On the outskirts of the southern village of Abassiya, the Israeli Army set up fortifications and barricades as part of a military workshop around Al-Dohaira post, off the town of Al-Ghajar. Heavy machinery was being used including bulldozers, drills and large cranes. A similar workshop was taking place at Jabal al-Sheikh’s observatory with soldiers setting up military equipment.

What better time to reverse engineer the Bible and convince all Jesus is coming again!!!!!!

Jesus Christ might return tomorrow, or he might delay His return another couple of millenniums - no one knows precisely when - but one thing for certain is that Jesus will return exactly as He promised He would.  We can be certain of that because God is trustworthy. Jesus is faithful to accomplish everything that the Bible promises.

Two thousand years ago, the followers of Jesus (including the Apostles who walked with Him, and Saul the former Jewish pharisee renamed as Paul) anticipated that Jesus would return from heaven during their lifetime. We, like they, live expectantly for Jesus' return. So why is there any delay? The Apostle Peter wrote in 2 Peter 3:3-15 the following:

"Scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires.  They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished.  But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

"But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.  The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. (emphasis mine)

"Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

"Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him." (emphasis mine)

So, the point of all this is to not be amazed at all of the end times scenarios that appear to be playing out, but to recognize our mortality, our humanity, our finiteness, our place vis-a-vis a holy majestic Creator God ... then act upon God's graciousness by accepting Jesus' gift of salvation through repentance (renouncement and turning away) from sin. Neither you nor I know with any assurance that we will be alive to see the sun rise tomorrow morning, for the vapor of our lives could be snuffed out as easily in random violence as in a fatal car wreck.  In Luke 13:1-5, Jesus discussed this: 

"There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.  He answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

Remember this:  The bible states that earth was created in 6 days, and on the seventh, the Lord rested.  Those 7 days are relative and subjective to the story teller.  Any one or all of those days could have been an instant of time, a millenia, more or less.  We'll never know.  For many, our reckoning will come today, tomorrow or any of the next days until the so-called apocolypse.  The Bible also warns of false prophets and advises us not to listen to those who would lead us to believe one thing when they don't know....because only the Lord knows.

So, Alstry...you are a fase prophet, prognosticator, or whatever term you want to use.  Fact is, you don't know.  you are using circumstantial evidence to predict what our Lord has already told us cannot be predicted.

Yours is sinful behavior, if you really follow the bible and believe what is written therein.

When opportunity knocks, listen and proceed prudently.  When others are fearful, determine whether there fear is justified, then take action based on your determination.  The states of business and uncertainty are relative to those conducting it and the expectations of the results of doing business.

A loss of at least 5 or 6 jobs...not counting the secondary impact to the trucking, shipping industry.
