Doesn't the A$$ realize the state doesn't have enough money to pay teachers?

And the same with all the Assemblymen and babes

Wis Assembly passes bill to reduce public union power...

I have no problem cutting the Union Power as long as we cut the Politician Power too.....

If we are going to cut, let's cut everything....or cut nothing.......because it is time to save power in the digital age

The congress and senators have retirement plans and health care that is out of this world. I agree- cut the top if you are cutting the middle class- again! How has this worked in the past?  We do not tax our wealthy as we do the middle class- we have destroyed the middle class by pushing down wages so deep, the tax base eroded and the government is broke. So, why do they keep their salaries, benefits and increases and pensions for doing such a crappy job?  Let them live under their own rules, they will all become choir boys overnight. I am a business owner, you would think I would be anti-labor, but I am not. I recognize the huge amount of taxes these people pay, how are you planning to replace it?  Pushing down wages is thrusting us into a 2nd rate country to live in- standards of living are higher in MANY places due to this stupidity. cut the wages- fine do it, but where the hell are you going to get the tax dollars to fix the potholes in the road?  Idiots!

I agree. Public servant pay and benefits should never exceed twice the median of their constituents. And they should be banned from private sector employment after leaving office. They should get the same retirement and benefits as they get for the least of us.

Best wishes,

Steven

I'm kind of shocked that you agree devoish and I actually think you are being a bit harsh on banning all public sector employees from ever working in the private sector.

Should a politician be able to get a job as a lobbyist? No.

Should a mailman be able to get a job at UPS?  Yes.
