SOON....MOST OF OUR FUNCTIONING WILL BE CLOUD BASED

Retailers and bank branches are closing around the nation. In the Digital Age, most of our daily activities will be online and virtual. Many current job functions will be eliminated and new ones will be created.

The technology is already here and robust. However, the process of change will be convulsive, especially for those heavily invested in the Industrial Age.

It is not the end of the world, just the end of the world as you know it.

The intesting question is how do we make the adjustment when currency doesn't function?  LOVE or FORCE?

Yes I know. As a bookseller I watch the sale of the Nook. That is doing well. However the store that sells the Nook does not get the credit or even half credit of the eletric book sale. That is a different area. We did make up for some of it in other areas like educational toys.

i think you are cherry-picking your news.  Citi is expanding bank branches by 200 over the next few years.  Chase is building 100 new branches in California and 200 in Texas.  PNC Financial is expanding branches in Milwaukee and Ft Lauderdale.  Bank branches aren't going anywhere because you need highly visible and convenient locations to attract deposits.
