You knew this was coming......hat tip to Karl Denninger at marketticker.org......

Democrats in the Senate on Thursday held a recess hearing covering a taxpayer bailout of union pensions and a plan to seize private 401(k) plans to more "fairly" distribute taxpayer-funded pensions to everyone.

Yeah I'm sure 401(k)s are being seized, right before the amero is introduced.  Wake up, this is just another stupid conspiracy theory pushed on the Republican base by politicians who actually know it's false.

MEGA-euro & T-Long . . . neither of you know the first thing about Sempai Al. "I" sat at the RIGHT-HAND of the man. He is not a tea-party member. You do not seek the truth, but only seek to defend your political stance.

You will be fleeced sheep if you think Republicans are better than Democrats, or vice-versa.

Baaaaaaaaaaaah! Watch the flashing ticker longwools.

Alstry you often post valid things (may be a bit exagerrated) but this one is outright ridiculous. Why should government seize your 401K when they have full control of the money your 401K is denominated in?

Only Argentina did that because they had their currency as USD and they needed to pay foreign creditors.

US can alsways simply issue more USDs.
