Not too long ago a Fool menionted Tinka Resources (tkrff) on one of Sinchi's threads, and the info got me really interested. I've been tracking it for some time now, and I must admit own some shares in my RLP. In the quest to find out why its been getting beat down, aside from the possibility that the next Pres of Peru may nationalize the mines, I came across this very interesting interview with Tinka's Pres and CEO Andrew Carter and Director David Henstridge.
The short of it is that this exploration company has found a site that has over 100g/ton of silver in it with many more sites with this potential. They get quick leaching of silver making it very cost effective, and they priced their operation at silver prices of $20/ounce. They will have more concrete drilling results by the end of this summer. For those interested, here's a corporate presentation to get more info.
