Dimitrios Biller, who once headed a corporate legal team that defended Toyota in rollover-accident lawsuits, took some 6,000 internal documents with him when he left Toyota in 2007. He has since sued the automaker under U.S. racketeering laws, as well as for wrongful termination and emotional distress.

He has said that the four cartons of documents support his claims that the company systematically hid or destroyed evidence of safety problems that would have led to costly trials in the United States.

"They think they are untouchable. They think our laws don't apply for them," Biller said of Toyota in an interview with Reuters earlier this month. "The documents I have prove that."

FE 24 TM top dog will enjoy his hearing.  Can't wait to see how the price moves next week.  I own a Celica GT-S and it has been perfect for 10 years.

Last 30 days F is flat while TM is down 20%.

I like PLNR (micro cap) in part because my magna cum laude son works there.  They have integrated their acquisition well and improved their balance sheet.  They also won many new design wins, including a new award withthe British Military.

TM may be a great buy, but not at current price levels. My quick and dirty liquidation value was 31 a share. Wait for a price in the low 50's.

Agree with #1 - additionally, I also believe F would still be a decent 2010 pick...

And after looking a PLNR, it doesn't look to be too shabby of a play for 2010 either...

I plan to jump on TM as soon as the hearing reaction settles in this week.  With GM really being the USA govt., I think a lot of this negative crap is just our redneck reps in DC waving the flag.  This will fade and TM will bounce back over $110 before the leaves fall off in October.  @chk999...I hope you are right.  I hope it drops to $50.  I have worked (consulted and sold parts to them) with TM in Japan, Koln, and LA, CA.  These  folks do a lot right.  Soon we will see some Fools get pinned for the three threads of product issues.  They are six sigma and all the data plus root cause and FEMA charts are a matter of record.
