TNP exploding like TNT?

Whoops. Not only are markets grumbly, but they're shedding shippers like shippers are earning...   well, negative EPS.

I've been holding TNP in the old Roth IRA for about 2 years, and even though it's been mostly sliding since then, I've been patient because the dividend and longer-term fundamentals suggested patience. But now it just seems really risky and contrary to my LTBH DRIP strategy.

Dropping below $8 today with a 6% haircut, I'm thinking about admitting I was wrong, cutting my losses, and sinking the cash into something that's way less risky long-term, like INTC.

Your thoughts, oh wise fools (and hopefully, oh wiser Fools)? Ships are obviously not my forte, even when oil-related...

I held for some time, and cut my losses at 10.  Not only was the stock sinking, but so was the USD (i'm in Canada).

I put it into Sandstorm Gold warrants, and I've been fairly pleased with that trade to say the least.
