Arrested Development is one of my all-time favorite shows. Great quote :)
Happy New Year!
Right on! My favorites among many was when Tobias decided to combine his analysis career with his therapy practice and printed up business cards that read:
No no, it's pronounced analrapist.
It wasn't really the pronunciation that bothered me.
Good times :).
"I kind of love her."
"You mean, you love her, like she loves Saddam?"
I defaced a rare book to get that picture of Saddam Hussein in a bathing suit.
“What would Saddam do?”.
Lol, love all of the additional quotes. It's definitely my favorite comedy of all time and one of my favorite shows, period. I'm a little terrified at how "the return" will turn out, though. The one great thing about shows prematurely (or properly) ended is that they're not allowed to drag on (like How I Met Your Mother and The Office -- just end already!!).
Part of the beauty is that we're always left wondering "what if?" and that adds an indescribable quality to it, something that's lost if shows go on too long or are later ruined.
I hear you about having reservations about the return. It was 2.7 seasons of brilliance. They knew they were fighting cancellation at the end which made the writing even better. So it will be hard to eclipse the old work. However, like Futurama season 5 proves, a show can come back from the brink swinging and regain its former glory. So I am optimistic :)
"It's almost like I wish he could be my Dad"
Jim Cramer: "They just beat the TREASON charges! I had it as a DON'T BUY! Let's bump it up to RISKY!!!"
