TM and I go way back.
I helped them win World Rally Races in Europe, working with the Koln operations. I worked with them in Japan. I sold them upgrade products for their TRD operations in Los Angeles. I own a 2001 Toyota Celica GT-S that my wife loves and refuses to sell. I think they clearly mismanaged product problems and communication of same. Their relentless cost reductions have now bit them on the butt. However, I am anxiously striving to predict the bottom of TM so I may buy a bunch on sale. The WITCH HUNT has been documented as motivated by some for reasons other than product technical clarity. I doubt the price will drop under $70.
APPL, THANK YOU.
I rode APPL up and sold some recently to invest in Planar (PLNR), where my Magna Cum Laude son works in distribution. I believe PLNR will provide much faster growth than AAPL in the next 6 months. AAPL has treated me well and I am grateful. But, I am counting on Planar to drive results. Their technology strategy has resulted in dynamic business growth. Anxious to hear the next quarterly report. The pulse of the business is strong and they have integrated their acquisition very well.
DISCLOSURE
I own AAPL, PLNR, F, GOOG. I do not own TM, yet.
