Unemployment Falling?????

Valeant Pharmaceuticals cut 130 jobs in the U.S. and Mexico to cut expenses. The Aliso Viejo, Calif., company said it will cut about 1,250 more jobs in the next 12 months because of the planned sale of the firm's European subsidiaries.

Unemployment Down?   Who comes up with these figures?

We have seen more layoff notices in the past few weeks than we have seen in years.  Suburban Food banks are running out of food.

Sorta like inflation is up 2% when everything has just about doubled in price?

Sorta like the liquidity crisis is about to come to an end when Trillions of dollars of RE debt and Municipal debt is on the verge of collapse?

To repeat that number, that is Trillions.  If you have money in a pension, get ready!!!!!!!  You think it was a coincidence that three top executives at Calpers just happened to all pursue different careers in the same week?

At some  point, the wall will break and we will not be able to stop the cascade of defaulting loans.  How long will it be able to be concealed?  That is a good question as each default likely triggers another default.  Just wait until the banks start dumping land and homes on the market over the next few months....then we will see how low prices can go.

Perhaps standards were changed? It is very easy to manipulate the number.

For example, our government changed the rules, who is counted as unemployed.  For example, if one is no longer entaiteled for unemployment support, he is not counted as unemployed.

By doing that, number of unemployed felt big time.
