Couldn't contain myself... despite:

A)  Looking at a DOW 8,000 possibility in the market...

and

B)  No way to tell where CYOU drops to after it has crashed through several support barriers...

and

C)  Using money that should be saved for upcoming Bills to pay....*yikes*

I went ahead and pulled the trigger.

The opportunity investor panickers are providing me with CYOU at $33.26  (my buy point) was far too easy.

I love the premise of Blade Hero & Blade Hero II.....    CYOU is an established brand of awesomeness.  Therefore... No trouble for me to pump 1K into the stock.

And I can't be selfish and say.."Don't Buy CYOU"   seriously. I mention this cause how often do we get these crazy triple digit mega plunges?

CYOU is now more than 15pts below it's 52-week high.

VOL*A*TIL*I*TY                         Yay!

Don't break your own investment rules, there is no such thing as quick buck. You still need to sleep at night if your gamble doesn't turn out how you planned/hoped, we are not out of the woods quite yet with this market volatility!

With ATVI and GAME already being mentioned in your portfolio aren't you worried that you're starting to leverage yourself too much to one sector?  It's also hard ot gauge what key technical indicators might be with really only 6 months of data to work with.  The IPO for CYOU was late March so it got to ride up with the rest of the market.  If you really think DOW 8000 is a near term possibility I think you could get this stock for much lower.

I also agree with Bluebird that using money originally intended for bills probably isn't the best idea.  I'm guessing you won't be homeless if the stock keeps going south, but in principle it's probably not the best practice.

Nah... I don't expect anyone to read my blog EVER....But.... Way back several months ago I built up my savings account  and abandoned investing for 2 months+.    This gives me a nice cusion should I be forced to have to pay a bill before my next pay check.

Plus this isn't a gamble... no quick buck for me.... I am just getting my foot in the door before CYOU reports earnings for Q3.

Uhm.....no.

I invest in company's with positive growth trends and solid management historically.  The fact they fall within some deranged category someone invented in order to put ticker symbols in some organized functional manner...is..well..silly.
Human behavior to want to mish mash things in patterns and structures is not by itself a reason to NOT invest or TO invest.

I stick with fundamenatals....trends....and techies (to a lesser extent).  When all 3 of these look good...I don't care what the sector is... .I care about the business...the products/services and the fact that I know the business.

These are TICKER SYMBOLS.....  Corporations..... They function to earn profits to pay labor and grow businesses.

The goal of investing is to buy those that are successful and short the ones that are failures.  In the end...that's the gist of investing.

Besides.. My portfolio covers more than 6 sector categories  in the economy.

Also....I am predicting a frightening HEMI-SWITCH.

My HEMI-SWITCH theory is already panning out as we speak with today's nose dive.

What is the HEMI-SWITCH?

US (DOWN)       EASTERN EUROPE + ASIA  (UP)

I highly doubt this will result in having to DUMP  (ATVI) and throw cash at (GAME) or (CYOU).

But the extent of HEMI-SWITCH problems hinges on Nov. 2010 election....and I am BEARISH on the results of the 2010 election for Conservatives.  Probably the only one that is severely BEARISH.
