*Sigh*  I take leave on a vacation and the GM outperform rating I had seems to have not performed for me.  I dump it though based on the simple fact that GM is headed for bankruptcy protection plus 1 other factor...

That other factor is that whatever OBAMA touches....seems to implode.   President Obama's track record so far is economically atrocious.   This has already become a track record far worse than Jimmy Carter.

If you've been following my blog at all you'd know that my analysis of the overall Economy revolves an awful lot over GALLUP's polling figures.

While supposedly Gallup has seen a recovery in jobs... That figure gets to be a bit unrealistic over the backdrop of GM and Chrysler news this week.  Those job losses will greatly offset the favorable polling numbers this week.

But the real kicker is the absolute jump off a cliff numbers in nearly every other category dealing with how economically sound Americans feel about the economy,  consumer spending, and so on.  There's wide spread evidence that people's savings are dwindling as their unemployment checks expire.
