Victor Niederhoffer's Checklist
Checklists have been widely discussed in the investing community the past two years after this article appeared in the New Yorker discussing their effectiveness at saving lives and money in the healthcare industry.
Checklists got a further boost when Mohnish Pabrai began using them and subsequently gave this presentation on them in Bruce Greenwald's class at Columbia (Link to video is here but I don't think it's working anymore). Munger also discussed checklists in "Poor Charlie's Almanack."
One blog I follow is Victor Niederhoffer's Daily Speculations. Niederhoffer is a trader and author of "Education of a Speculator," (His wikipedia bio is here) The blog differs from others I read in that it is decidely focused on trading, as opposed to investing, and life in general.
Today he posted his checklist for investing which I found enlightening in how different it was from my own.
