So, winners of the Nobel Prize apparently live longer.

I guess I'm surprised that all those old chemists and Marie Curie apparently didn't skew down the results. More interesting is the theory that status, or simply self-satisfaction derived from acknowledged respect, can lead to living longer. This is good, because I don't honestly think the Nobel committee has me on their list.
As investors, and through CAPS, public investors with a public track record one has to wonder whether the virtual 'status' we can achieve in this game can lead to a longer life. Will Russel outlive us all - LOL. While bemused by this topic, is this self-fulfilling. Bad investors who put a modicum of their self-worth into their investing skills, will likely die sooner anyway - so it really doesn't matter that they sucked at investing. Whereas, good investors, may well get to enjoy the fruits of their success longer.
