No, this is not an experiment to see if We Suck (with no punctuation) out recs Alstry Sucks.  Instead, this blog post is to acknowledge that we introduced a bug in last night's release that will cause hyperlinks that you enter through our blog editing tool to break.  You can paste URLs into your blogs of course.

Unfortunately, we may not be able to roll out the fix for this until July 22nd--which is why we suck.  I very much apologize for this inconvenience.  It's really not our intention to break something with each new release, notwithstanding our recent track record.  :(

However, hyperlinks do work in blog comments.  For example, I would have liked to have started the post above with:

At least you're honest about it!

Kidding, TMF does an awesome job, no worries about the mistakes, they happen.

Dang, we do suck. I miss my links.

Maybe all blog posts should be one line until the 22nd, with the real meat in comment number one.

I am glad we're willing to admit when we suck on Caps though. Honest suckage is better than just plain suckage.

We have a country full of people who can't admit they suck.  So admitting that you suck gives you a leg up on the competition.

Y'all have one of the best interfaces I've seen, and I can't even imagine the backend on CAPS, blogs, forums, and the front page.  I think a rough patch can be excused.  I do have to say though, not being able to fix it for 3 weeks is pretty weak.

But thanks for being straight with us, that's pretty upstanding of you.

No doubt that there will be an Alstry tomorrow morning detailing why this "we suck" snafu will add to his 9.09 prediction.  If you could have blamed this on Goldman Sachs or the North Koreans, it would have made a much more interesting post.

Although, now that I think about it, this problem does come at a curious time just after all the news about those counterfiet bonds in Italy has been brushed off the back page of the WSJ.  More than a coincidence?  I'm thinking it's not!

What is so hard to figure out about Alstry's 9.09 prediction?  Remember the 9.11 disaster?  This is just a leap-behind-by-two-day  year in the calendar of Alstrynomics, remember- it is all about being right.  The brightest minds in numerology, chinese fortune cookie writing and random surveys of callers to the suicide help line in Amarillo Texas were all collated and ran through Alstry's proprietary software to make this remarkably accurate model.

Prepare.

All kidding aside, Alstry could be right to a degree.  This market has gone up on little more than hope, and as far as I can see they are doing everything to slow down the natural recovery of a recessionary cycle.

Jake, You are more helpful, responsive, and honest in the work you do than most.  You will get this right just as you always seem to figure out everything else somehow.  Don't let the setbacks get you down.  Mary

This is for you -

If you need a BETA tester, I've volunteered before. I'll be gone for the next month in an internet free zone, so can't start right away. :)
