Just like Alstry projected....welfare is becoming the GROWTH industry in America...

Costco Wholesale Corp. said Wednesday that it will start accepting food stamps at its warehouse clubs nationwide after testing them at stores in New York.

It's a big about-face for a retailer that has catered to bargain-hunting but affluent shoppers, and it's a sign of the grim reality facing retailers and their customers. The number of Americans relying on government food subsidies to eat recently hit a record 36 million.

If it wasn't for government running a $2 Trillion dollar deficit and spending it on welfare, medicare, and unemployment...our economy would be in a massive depression and GDP would be evaporating.  Isn't it wonderful living in fantasy land???......until the bankers cut us off....the same bankers we just bailed out and are handing over treasuries for free!!!!

A few see and feel it coming......

New Yorkers are fleeing the state and city in alarming numbers -- and costing a fortune in lost tax dollars, a new study shows.

More than 1.5 million state residents left for other parts of the United States from 2000 to 2008, according to the report from the Empire Center for New York State Policy. It was the biggest out-of-state migration in the country.

The vast majority of the migrants, 1.1 million, were former residents of New York City -- meaning one out of seven city taxpayers moved out.

"The Empire State is being drained of an invaluable resource -- people," the report said.

Looks like someone will be raising taxes very soon as fewer and fewer are paying.  Who coulda seen this coming???????

If we just fire EVERYONE and wait six months....unemployment will be ZERO!!!!!!

The unemployment rate fell in September in most metro areas, although that's largely because more people gave up on job searches than found new work.

"The job market is not recovering at all yet," said Jim Diffley, regional economist for IHS Global Insight. "We're looking at another jobless recovery."

How will we learn that the bankers and world will no longer extend credit to a nation that simply refuses to live within its means.....or will we go on the offensive first????

All we know is it will be big....ALSTRY BIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....whatever happens.

When you alstrybate to my blogs so often, are you in front of a mirror?

You know it makes sense, since you can't make any cents scoring points in CAPS.
