Hi Everybody,

I hope all Fools had a safe and Happy Christmas. Mine was awesome, just spending the day with family was the best part.

But the question posed here is what did you get for Christmas, and more important (this being a financial site) What do you think about the companies that made the product.

I got

An ativa paper shredder (Ticker ODP)

Have'nt looked at office depot in a while but when I did was none to impressed with the stock

A pair of crocs (Crox)

Love the product, the stock not so much.

The Essays of Warren Buffett: Lessons For Corporate America

Warren Buffett Speaks by: Janet Lowe

An envelope from my Dad that said good for one share of Berkshire Hathaway class B (split adjusted)

Obviosly I love this company and will be buying as many shares as possible (and yes I know a split is basically meaningless, so no need to point that out)

Also got some clothes but I don't know the companies, a George Foreman grill (not public)

and, gave away some Snuggies (not public but I love the commercials)

Hope to get a discussion going here and would like to wish all Fools a safe and prosperous New Year.

Msftgev.

I recieved the following:

Graham's The Intelligent Investor (4th Revised Edition)

Levitt and Dubner's Superfreakonomics

A collage book of pictures of myself and my 11 month old son.

Sweaters, socks, the usual.

Put simply, it was the greatest Christmas of my life and I genuinely hope that all Fools had as good of a holiday as I did.

A bottle of Maker's Mark

A few bottles of red wine

New tool bag

Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun

As far as I know, none of those are produced by publicly traded companies.

I gave my wife a key necklace from Tiffany.  Haven't researched TIF enough to have an opinion on it as an investment.  With just a quick look, it seems expensive at 20 times 2011 earnings.

Rd80, good stuff.  Big fan of Maker's Mark myself.  Be careful not to shoot your eye out!

Should be ok as long as I don't use the Daisy after drinking the Maker's Mark. :)
