August 10, 2010 – Comments (23)

When its politicians are running a collective $2 trillion dollar annual deficit exceeding ALL of the earnings of ALL of the companies in America and the national debt has doubled over the past two years?

Do any of you Sheep really think there is any equity left in America after the debt is taken into consideration?

And you call yourself investors....I guess I shoud be a easier on you....Madoff's clients called themselves investors too......and they should have known better and were probably a lot richer than you.

Remember these words.....JOINT AND SEVERAL LIABILITY........YOU MADE MONEY IN AMERICA OVER THE PAST THIRTY YEARS PRIMARILY BECAUSE OF RISING DEBT.......NOW ITS TIME TO PAY IT BACK.....WITH EVERYTHING YOU HAVE NO MATTER HOW RICH YOU ARE.....

AND IF YOU ARE THINKING OF LEAVING THE COUNTRY.....GET A REALLY GOOD LAWYER.....AND THAT MAY NOT BE ENOUGH.

We elected these jokers to repsresent us....and all they did was borrow our money, and pay themselves and give it to their buddies....while we will be left holding the bag.

Don't you think it would be a lot easier to get into a really messy war to distract you and try to conceal what they did?

2500 years of history has shown that once the citizens of a nation can no longer support its government...the government is compelled to force those citizens to go out and fight other nations for the politicians to keep the politicians in power.

And guess what...running a $2 trillion dollar deficit is pretty much a lock that we can no longer support our politicians.

You are living in a perceived world totally created inside your wobbly head.  Take a deep breathe.  Go outside into the sunshine   Get some vitamin D.

You've fallen off the deep edge.  Is it for your 15 minutes of fame?  Is it because you are truly a nut job?

This country has existed since 1787.  Lot of problems along the way.  Lot of successes.

And we have a lot of problems ahead.  But these will be overcome.

Go back to the restaurant, cook up some eggs and bacon for the patrons, and get a clamp on your colon, because the end isn't nigh.

And for God's sake, learn to spell so you can appear as the learned man you'd like to portray yourself as.

No Donner...you are a nut job.

1787 is merely a blip history.....even 1776 or 1492....statistically speaking of course.

No doubt we will overcome these problems.....although I am not sure of the particular problems you are referring to?

We have only been through no less than a dozen decent wars since then......millions were killed or injured.....no big deal

Who ever said it was the end of world or we would not overcome?

You just don't get it do you;)

my guess is the latter will be the cause.

If you look at history, in many cases corporations can survive sovereign default and crazy amounts of violence.

Equity investors in prewar Germany and Japan had made up their gains by the 1960s, while sovereign bond investors were of course wiped out.

Hey Al, Isn't this what you were saying a year ago, on the cusp of one of the greatest market run-ups in history. Surely you remember. How 'bout your call for $1000/bl oil? Notice your hecklers don't even bother with your diatribe ad nauseum anymore. Tell me, what did I miss on 8.9.10. It was a good day for me. Kind of like 9.09 et al was/were. Do tell.
  And what is this-

Sounds like something my 16 yr old would say (back when she was 10 or so). You need to get out of that basement.

If you look at history......

What the heck does history have to do with tommorrow?

There was 2000 years of history for the buggy whip...then it was gone.....

There was thousands of years of history for the residents of two towns in Japan....then they were gone......vaporized if you will.....

We could go on and on........

None of it was the end of the world.....just the end of a world as the world knew it....especially for those residents in Japan.

history precedes what occurs in the future, that's what.
without history, nothing occurs tomorrow.

Al- if you were a little smarter, you could have called Mr D on spelling- breath/breathe (although, I suspect he meant breather). You may never get that chance again. My guess is he left it for you knowing you wouldn't catch it.

You're right.  Breath is the noun, breathe is the verb.  My bad.  Second spelling mistake this year and it's only August.  :)
