IBM Watson can now replace all of the above professions without much effort.  It can crunch global data in real time and analyze it to levels no human can match at speeds most can't comprehend.  It can even make forecasts based on the data using sophisticated probability analysis.

Alstry has always scored pretty high in school....and his friends way higher.....but none of us, whether we have degrees in nurosurgery, physics, invasive cardiology, law, accounting, or ivy league MBAs can match the capabilities of Watson and its soon to be friends.

I'm skeptical that a computer could take the place of a savvy investor, though computers can fleece the typical investor with delusions of savviness (and have for some time now). I do think a computer could do what you do. In fact... when was the last time anyone checked Alstry for biological function?
