What if WE are the Terrorists?

Kamranat got me thinking tonight.....just a hypothetical thinking exercise...

What if WE American citizens are the true terrorists to our own government.  What if about ten years ago, the bankers and government realized that citizens could never pay back the debt they owed banks and government could never pay off on the entitlement obligations it owed its citizens?

So in order to create an environment that they could infect and bankrupt Americas with more debt than we could ever pay back......government and bankers used 9.11 as a pretext to loan out massive amounts of money and to start to crack down on the liberties and rights of citizens.  Whether 9.11 was a false flag or a convenient excuse is irrelevant for this hypothetical exercise.

As such....government ramped up the military to create the illusion of this massive terror organization that we should all be afraid of as a pretext to emasculate hundreds of years of Constitutional Rights our founding fathers provided and our ancestors died protecting...in addition to sending out a strong warning to any nation thinking of moving away from the dollar....nothing like a good public hangin to send a clear message to all on the fence.

How dangerous could a tall sickly white robbed man be walking through Poppy Fields???  Clearly not more dangerous than the peril we faced from the Soviet Union......and yet we were much more open then.

Now the stage has been set....we as a nation our bankrupt...only bankers and government have access to money and they can arbitrarily determine how much or how little to tax us and who lives and who dies economically.

As a people, we can no longer serve the banking system as tradional banking is unprofitable due to massive defaults from exploding unemployment and evaporating incomes.  Further, from government's perspective, since tax revenues are evaporating, it can no longer conceal the fact that servicing social security and medicare while paying politicians salaries is impossible without destroying the dollars we owe the bankers around the world.

In essence, from governments' and bankers' perspectives...it would be better for them if we were simply gone and they could sell all of our assets to foreigners around the world....and get really rich in the process.

An interesting hypothetical isn't it......?

As much as I like dystopian crap, a lot of people (millions) would have to die for any real control.  Just too many people with too much knowledge.  Actually, real control would have to be billions dead and a world government.

Do you want to know what truly frightens me, Alstry?

This terrifies me - more power, money, control changing hands with a simple signing of a document than anything and everything that you have blogged about - and the change taking place in one easy motion.  Bankrupting the developed nations of the world - without so much as a mention in the mainstream media - and already set as to the schedule, the place, the time, the participants, and an eager single-party controlled legislature ready to rubber-stamp whatever is put before them.

Tell me that you would find it less terrifying to lose control of your entire country and your right to have a say in how things are done on any level  than  to face an exploding Depression with the basic framework of government intact.  Or better, explain to us why the first option would be so much more devastating for whatever future we would have left.

I thought that the Patriot Act cleared that up.  When the government has the right to spy on it's own people, that pretty much sums it up, no?  Imagine if our forefathers lived during this day and age of the internet, the patriot act, computer access to their life history, cell phone records, emails, etc could be had at the blink of an eye.

Would the American Revolution still have happened or would have they all be tried as terrorists and held as an enemy of the state before spell check even finished on their word documents?

A little off topic, but since you brought it up in your post I'll comment on it.

I think that tall sickly white robbed man walking through the poppy fields has been using too much of his own product. He probably feeds it to his followers which lead them to believe that suicide bombing is the way to true salvation and of course their 70 virgins.

I noticed that some of the Patriot Act measures that allowed for our civil liberties to be ah- amended (?) in favor of more government control are close to expiration.  The current administration has decided to retain those measures for "security purposes" but only to be used in case of extreme concern.

In essence, from governments' and bankers' perspectives...it would be better for them if we were simply gone and they could sell all of our assets to foreigners around the world....and get really rich in the process.

And what if we all signed a "Climate Control" paper saying that we OWED the money for 'polluting' the world atmosphere.  Then we wouldn't be selling but 'repaying' our debt to society. Especially if the paper also set up global enforcement, then we would be "gone" for all practical purposes.

An interesting hypothetical isn't it......?

And just like that, it stops being hypothetical.

An even more fantastical and outrageous question is, "What if human activity actually did have some significant, measurable effect that raises global temperatures?"

All of the stories I have read lately are that global temperatures are cooling, not warming. The program has changed. The scare phrase is no longer "global warming" it is "climate change." Just like it's no longer "public option" it's "competitive option." Of course, the earth has experienced "climate change" a lot longer than man has been recording data points; we used to call it "weather." That doesn't seem to cause as much panic, though.

YMMV. HAND.

Great blog.  I truly think the earth fixes itself. The biggest cause of co2 is fire. It has happened for millions of years. Fire is good. It creates life. How about New Orleans. Build something under sea level and look at the earth fix itself. Block rivers and watch salmon die. If the earth heats up from man it will create larger hurricanes killing more people who cant heat it up. Seems kinda simple.

I'd steer clear of these "hypotheticals" if I were you. They make you sound unhinged, regardless of how "hypothetical" they are.

Just callin' 'em like I see 'em. Folks like you would get SO much more support from folks like me if you could just keep clear of the crazy train.
