What keeps Ben up at night?

March 10, 2011 – Comments (5) | RELATED TICKERS: AUY , SVL , POT

Ok so while we were looking at the price of gas and what is going on in the USA. Ah yes the as a Fool just wrote class warfare. Oh look at the bigger picture. QE 3 will have to come because of Deflation. Oh Ben does not see this one coming. How is one of the most important ways that Ben looks at the Economy. Wages my man wages. Wage inflation is what he keeps his eye on. Now with teacher pay in Wis. and wages cut all over the country or just stay at par then he will not see any inflation for quite awhile. I have always thought of higher wages as deflationary but then I am funny that way. Oh well. This is going to be another Black Swan year. FYI More and more people are buying books on the Second Coming and the End of times or Revelations is upon us. Also more and more Customers are now saying that they will pay a little bit more if the people know you instead of impersonal Mega Stores. It seems in time of turmoil they like the sense of community and knowing that you know just a little bit about them. Well just a few late night thoughts. God speed my friends.

The 3 monkeys of see no, hear no, and speak no could do Ben's Job  so long as the government is in there manipulating the outcomes.

Ben sleeps well and is only kept up at night  for recreational activities.  Zero  and negative interest rates until pigs start jumping off tall buildings and learn to glide down without splattering into bacon.  Some day perhaps our kids kids kids kids kids will see ( the Fed Reserve if they all haven't been overthrown and dealt with ) an increase in interest rates.

Until than more and more of the ponzi scheme of the governments making money out of thin air being loaned to banks at no cost only to be loaned back to the gov at a quarter of one percent  on a short term rate or  4 percent over twenty years.

Who knows maybe they'll make new 100 year bonds that aren't redeemable unless you live long enough to cash them out.

Rest assured that Ben won't be worried neither will the power elite.
