Where Are You Uncle Sam?

The legally and morally correct perspective from www.udderworld.com

Recently, when the financial system collapsed, you were there for the rich with trillions of dollars. An amount so large many can't even comprehend. Without your unprecedented bailout, the rich would have been poor and we all would have been equal. At least Warren Buffett had the honesty and integrity to admit it a few years later in this letter to the N.Y. Times.

Because of your selective bailout, an inequality has been created unlike anything America has ever seen before. And the gap between the haves and have nots is getting bigger, not smaller. The wealthy are living in safe neighborhoods, with big homes, stocked with plenty of food to feed their children. Because of your handout, they are able to pay high prices for groceries, fuel, and health care.

For the rest, the growing majority, many are barely scraping by each day. Sixty million citizens don't even have any health insurance. Fifty million must try to feed their families with Food Stamps each month while the your bailed out nieces and nephews have billions of your bailed out cash and investments. And now many more are losing homes as jobs are being replaced by technology and jobs eliminated due to a deteriorating industrial economy. To add insult to injury, the bankers you bailed out are the ones taking our homes while giving themselves billions in bonuses that you funded. Is this justice?

Now many neighborhoods are increasingly crime infested as hunger and homelessness is rising. Thousands of police officers and firefighters are losing their jobs and prosecutors are warning people to arm ourselves. The American dream is becoming an industrial nightmare for more everyday as your bailed out nieces and nephews want to cut even more of the small payments you are making to us every month.

If an entitlement is simply a payment from government, what are we entitled to? Why do so few get so much while so many get so little? We send our kids off to fight and die defending this nation, for what? Uncle Sam, where are you when we need you? Are we not your nieces and nephews too?

Comrade Alstrymous, why are you complaining?

We just had an election and the sheep have spoken. It's more of Obama's policy of the last four years and steady as she goes.

Obviously justice was served by the 62,611,250 people that voted for a his continuation. And by the way, "Sixty million citizens don't have any health insurance and fifty million families are on Food Stamps." So, how many of THEM punched Obama's ticket? Just a guess here, but I'd wager a very large majority of them.

An "entitlement society" simply breeds more entitlements.

The only thing our constitution (used to) entitle us to is the right to be left alone. The Supreme Court overturned that right with Obama Care and now your entitled to pay, and pay, and pay.

It really doesn't make sense to work much anymore.
