Which is the best company you don't own? And what do I mean be best? I define best as being the one stock that has all the qualities you are attracted to, yet can't bring yourself to buy. Many of you reading this are saying to yourselves "Why would you not buy such a company?" Well, my dear reader, there are a whole list of reasons, good or bad, that might cause an investor to hold back: The CEO is over six feet tall, the company is based over seas, the company was established the year of your birth, the company is 50% state owned, the company forces their entry level people to take turns dancing in animal costumes for the amusement of Japanese tourists...I could go on.

I have two that fall into this catagory: SID and IBN. I think both are great, have wonderful strengths and have what it takes to be LTBHs for the next five years, IBN for 10 years if not longer. The reason I hold back is I already have reached the number of companies I am confortable with in my portfolio. I can only keep my eye on so many at once. I recommend looking into them.

Now tell us about the best company/companies you don't own.

Google. I use it multiple times a day, for multiple reasons both business and personal. But the price of the stock scares me.

FWV- a small cap, regional bank.  The more I look at it, the more I like it.  The very day I was going to buy, it passed my buy price threshold.  I'm patient, though.  I'll wait for the entry point I want.

Netflix. Great business, but too expensive now. Wish I had bought it when I gave it my thumb up here on CAPS...

FedEx - FDX

Amazing company, but it always seems too expensive.

Runner up, Costco - COST
