Today is Bastille Day in France commemorating the liberation of modern  day France.  We in America sometimes call the French.... frogs.  In the end, are we really frogs sitting in boiling water thinking its a hottub?

Our Airlines are shutting down.  Our Auto Companies are shutting down.  Our Banks are shutting down.  Our Construction companies are shutting down.

Our government officials are saying no bailout one day and bailing out the next.  How bad are things really?  How hot will the water get?  Ribbit....Ribbit.....

Been a nice run in the real portfolio being short C, LEH, and WB and long ABX calls.  Any thoughts on short-able banks?  I don't mind naked shorts (as opposed to puts) on the banks because the premiums in the options are pretty steep right now and it is almost as easy to get leveraged with shorts given margin requirements.  You really have to be sure of impending Ch 11 to pick up some puts on WM or some of the others...  However, I am open for suggestions.

I don't get FB/Chimp.  What's up with the changing identities...???
