Who will win? Big guys versus the retail players?

As mentioned in april, I remain a cautious bull.  Surprises are rarely predicted and I hear very little discussion of a recesssion or a retracement.  This rally has been fueld by liquidity of the hedge funds and by m&a activity.  Those saying the market will go higher mention the lack of participation by the "little" or retail trader (such as I).

Many since the bubble correction of some years ago quit day trading and investing and turned their money over to mutual funds and other managers.  Thus we have the big money pitted against a reluctant retail player.  With the huge amount of funds in the hands of fewer folk, we may be setting ourselves up for the great fall.  Be careful and Elliott Wave Theory indications, according to an European analyst I follow, indicates a top in June (see previous post).  I'm taking some profits here.
