Why Do Fools See Change As Doom and Gloom???

Alstry's moto has been IT is not the end of the world, simply the end of a world as you know it......in other words massive change.....and in the end, we will probably be collectively better off, but the process will be convulsive.
Since starting Blogging a few years ago:
New Home Construction Is Down 80%
Auto Sales are Down 50%
Unemployment among Architects is OVER 60%
Hotel occupancy is Below 60%
Most Commercial Construction halts after 1.01.10
Harley Davidson has released 2/3 of its workforce at its largest manufacturing plant in one year
The York plant has already undergone heavy job cuts in the last year, going from 2,800 workers to 1,950. The plant is Harley-Davidson’s largest manufacturing facility, producing the company’s Touring and Softail models.
The new seven-year contract will reduce the York plant’s workforce to 1,000 workers from its current level of 1,950 employees. The agreement was ratified by a vote of 1,587 to 193, meaning hundreds of workers voted for a deal that may cost them their jobs. Workers may have been faced with little choice however as voting for the deal may prevent the closure of the entire plant.
The union also concedes health benefits and control over work schedules in the new agreement.
Cities, Counties, and States, collectively one of the largest employers in America, are facing the most severe financial revenue contraction and budget shortfalls in history.
Revenues to S&P 500 companies are contracting the most in history.
And all of the above while the Federal Government is on track to incur a $2 Trillion dollar deficit while tax receipts are collapsing.
All of the above are things Alstry warned you would occur under Zombulation policies of giving banks free money and cutting off the rest of the economy from credit and raising interest rates without restructuring existing debt in highly leveraged environment.
It is not the end of the world, simply a mathematically certain outcome from the effects of Zombulation.
It is strange how so many CAPS players doubt the facts or get upset by the detailed chronicaling of supporting facts linked to the sources confirming the effects of zombulation.
With Harley operating at 1/3 capacity, Autos at 1/2, and homebuilders at 20%, commercial construction pretty much halted, and tax receipts evaporating....the question is how does one invest in an economy where the policy is zombulation are we are probably still in the first half of the process?
What is the impact on investments if America is broke??? Will we have to pay higher taxes??? What if too few can pay to support a system with high requirements????
Getting mad at Alstry accomplishing nothing.......trying to come up with constructive solutions and direction can be priceless.
