Because the FED has No Gold. Supposedly the Treasury Does. Do they Really have the Gold? Na.... I don't think so. Has anyone seen the gold. When was the last physical gold count done.

These ba st ar ds. Oh yes let's use my brave men and women to do their dirty dead with out them knowing and lying to them.It makes me so angry. There is no way I can do anything about it yet I hope and pray that there is.Maybe someone who can will see this and so something will be done. I just found out and can't stop crying. I never knew the extent of what I was learning. It made me toss my cookies and yes I am even more behind owning gold and silver. As a sector. Yet others know and are working to end it. Parents who lost their sons or daughters. Children losing their parents. On all sides. When control of the Entire World is at stake these people will go to all lengths. Yet this great evil that is as plain as the nose on your face is so hard to understand much less see. Fema camps pale in to what is going on otherwise. 

The Federal Reserve does not own any gold at all. We have not owned gold since 1934, so we have not engaged in any gold swap.

The Dollar is not only not backed by gold, but in the event of a dollar meltdown the only assets backing the world’s reserve currency are worthless toxic mortgages purchased by The Fed in recent years from insolvent banking institutions.

 Who knows what the truth is anymore. I sure don't but it is not looking so good right now. A little truth right now would be nice. It is not fair or right for my brave men and women who served or who are serving now and their family's.  Thank and and bless you all.

You've uncovered the plot to sell our gold to China. Bravo. That's why we don't have gold. The Chinese are building aircraft carriers and soon they will use our gold to invade California. The communist sympathizing Obama/Bernanke are selling you out to the Chinese. Better be prepared for the United States of China!

heck betapeg. It has probably been gone for decades now. Oh it was Nixon Carter Regan both Bushes and Clinton and many more. Obama is just a long line of Presidents who are. Tension has risen in the region in the past month on concern that China is becoming more assertive in its claim to waters believed to be rich in oil and gas.

Part of the waters are also claimed by Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam.

 

however I don't worry about China.  I worry more about Perry becoming President. He is so bad news.

Place your faith in men.  the ones worthy of it.

Unless you have some spaceship that requires gold as fuel  or some vital component ?  what really  is the value of it other than its scarce ?  you can't  well you can eat gold flakes ? but its not nutricious ?  its not even tastey, oh its soft but so are breasts  it shines but so do smiles.

Its only metal...

It's use to me is as a store of value. I know others will buy them from me later at about what I paid for them (in real terms). But if I store a bunch of paper dollars (or let a bank do it for me at 0.25% interest), the Fed prints more behind my back, devaluing my savings. Mining companies go to a lot of real work to mine more gold, and it is a tiny amount compared to all that is already above ground, so I don't begrudge them their earnings.

I don't eat paper dollars, do you? (I don't see the value of eating gold, but silver in suspension has some possible health benefits.)

Lord Z. No my faith is not unto silver and gold. I can just use it to buy things like paper thin air money to get my milk coffee and cigs. I place my faith in God who will  send me the worthy man. ;-P

How many things need silver and gold to function? A few. Also as a currency. If they used coffee beans as currency then I would also buy them. Wink. 

rfaramir you are right on the silver in suspension. I am thinking of trying it myself.
