I love your political enthusiasm-- in fact, I think we need much more of that in this country.

That being said, Ron Paul has no chance of winning. I am sure you will point me to some random poll, but let's face it: he can't win.

That leaves us with two viable options: Romney and Perry. Either one is much better than Obama IMO (and I think your opinion too). I wouldn't want to hate on one of our two best options to remove Obama from office.

Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? :)

It's not over until he drops out.  I will vote for him regardless and most likely many, like me, will do the same.  Will this be to the detriment of the Reps?  Probably so, but we need more honest people in DC and he is about as close as we can get.

Paul is rapidly rising in the polls, to be fair. There is a good chance he'll win Iowa. I am going to support the candidate who understands economics, fights to promote and protect individual liberty, recognizes that wars are bankrupting the U.S., understands the Federal Reserve, and actually takes the Constitution seriously.

I will not vote for Perry or Romney; they are not better than Obama. They will continue the wars, support the PATRIOT Act, ignore the Constitution, ignore the Federal Reserve, continue the spending and debt, and spend the country into oblivion. The U.S. is headed toward a dollar collapse that will continue regardless of which party gets elected.

I'm voting on principle. Perry, Romney, and Obama are liars, power-grabbers, and it will be a cold day in hell when I support these hypocritical plastic men who are in bed with corporations and support U.S. imperialism.

I, frankly, do not care who the media deems "electable." I care more about educating people and supporting a principled individual like Ron Paul. Besides, it's the FREAKING PRIMARY we're talking about. Why vote for boneheads like Romney and Perry when you can vote with your consciense for Ron Paul?
