Why we don't hear from Tony logan and GMX any more...

September 20, 2009 – Comments (15) | RELATED TICKERS: GMX , TNL.DL

Yeah, why?

I just opened a blog from BullMarlketN09: DOW 10,000 by Jan. 2010, posted on May 13, 2009.

And I'm just wondering what are their comments now? Especially, Tony's, who predicted BullMarketN09 is not going to be an active user name by Jan. 2010 (btw. BullMktN09's rating is 100 right now).

p.s. Right now, Tony Logan's rating is very close to <20...

Nice call, Tony.

StatsGeek, let the bulls have their dreams. Today was painful enough without hitting them with another 2x4 full of hard cold reality.

How does it feel today, GMX? Have you been hit by a freight train lately...?  :)

Bullmarket is one of the crappiest accounts. Most of it is shorting ultras.

Actually, most of Bullmarket's calls are individual stocks if I'm not mistaken.  He seems to have a few calls shorting ultras in his closed picks, but they don't appear to be that common.

Are you sure you're not thinking of UltraLong?  UltraLong, at one time, was almost entirely ultra ETF calls.

Look at his recently closed picks. Most of them are ultras.

You've been on CAPS now for about 3 months and you are doing good for yourself. You also have been bullish and speculative during a nearly vertical rally of the U.S. stock market index. No one wants to hear your stupid blogs that call out other CAPS members that have been on here wayyyy before you made your first pick in June 2009?...Take a look at the Baltic Dry Index and the Shanghaii Index, Research a little more, SHUT UP alot more and you will be just fine :)

Alexpaz, what do you mean by "research a little more"? You are the one with 22 rating, remember? :)

But I do agree my blog is stupid calling other CAPS members out. I really do. However, I'm calling out two guys who pretty much called another guy "stupid" back in May so I don't feel too bad.

And you, I don't see that you were trying to protect BullMarketN09 from Tony's and GMX's "attacks" back then, but are now protecting them. Most likely, you found their comments very amusing back then. Why do I think so? I took a look at your and Tony's rating (almost identical), and your blog about calling a top (right here right now) back on Aug. 24...

p.s. Don't be mad at me for being wrong... and stick to research... :)

Hey man, you've been on here 3 months...I'm down on points mostly for red thumbing the 2/3x bull etf's. I will be in the green on ALL of those calls eventually. The ultra shorts I red thumbed are another story. Timing is everything in this game, I'll be the first one to admit that I don't have the best timing. Good luck speculating kook!

Hey dragonballZ,

Ratings while you have the "new member" charm really do not mean much. Much as Paz said, come back in at least a year. --Or the next major correction. Any rube who opened an account after the 666 lows would have a great rating if they invested in anything.

Point is, and I speak from experience, watch what you profess. Don't be so quick to state your greatness, or anothers faults.

Time and the market will humble you

Paz-I agree

gnubee, please read my post again and tell me where is it that I bragged about my rating.

It is not my problem that you guys with the rating close to <20 get ticked off by my rating.

Also, when you say "come back in a year" you sound just like Tony when he said BullMarket will be not an active user name by Jan. 2010. I hope you know what happened there.

And, one more thing. If any rube who opened an account after 666 would have a great rating, what has stopped you from at least having a score of 0 (I see you are getting close), if you are so good as you think you are (otherwise you wouldn't be commenting around lecturing other people)?

p.s. Let's visit each other's portfolios or blogs in a year...

I've got to agree with dragonLZ. Gnubee only has 9 active picks, and alexpas is on the precipice of the dreaded "<20" rating.

Put up or shut up, guys. DragonLZ has earned my respect with his performance on TMF... what have you two clowns done?

Thanks for your support, Deepfryer, but I honestly didn't mean to brag about my rating and belittle somebody elses.

I just called out two guys who were making jokes about somebody who got the guts to be positive back in May, but the market made a big joke out of them.

I have a huge respect for GMX (as a bear has incredibly good rating in a bull market), but I also have already called him out on a few of his bad calls. I think that's just normal and healthy, and I expect the same treatment.

Whenever I open my big mouth I know what the outcome can be: I will either be a genius (not really, but you know what I mean) or a total dope. And I embrace both as I love this game...

Good Luck everybody!

You are implying that your 98+ rating means you are somehow better than someone with anything less. So yes you are being a braggart.

Fryer- what have I done? nothing just learned first hand that you can get off to a great start when the market works in your direction. You've been here since '07, I'd think you'd agree with that. I've only been here for around 18 months, was a 94 rating, and got whacked by the commodities correction. But you'd know that already if you looked at all my picks, and the date of my first pick. I've been dumping picks in an effort to start over at zero, rather than just start another account.

I can speak for myself in saying I am not "ticked" off by your rating. Just that you should wait a little longer before pronoucing yourself so great, and another to be the lesser.
