Will these stocks jump huge tomorrow...?

August 04, 2009 – Comments (5) | RELATED TICKERS: CNO , CVGI , FOE

Four of my real-life stocks either reported earnings this afternoon or will report tomorrow morning:

What do you think?

I think 3 out of these 4 should be up a lot, if not all 4...

As you can see, always an optimist...

ATVI will jump in anticipation with their earnings report (after hours tomorrow) but I remain skeptical and extremely bearish on that stock... despite owning 565 shares.

As for CNO, FIG, FOE, CVGI..

Why in the world would you really care much about the earnings release tomorrow?  A lot of these stocks look like tremendous growth stories over the next 5-10 years.

FOE in particular has recently been upgraded on their outlook from Mid-May of this year.

CNO is an insurance company and that sector is seeing a bull-run shaping up chart wise to look exactly like the S&P 500.

I think you have an excellent set of stocks that I'd recommend holding for more than just tomorrow's "POP."

FOE - No

FIG ??  Not paying a dividend this quarter, but up a bit after-hours.

Good luck!

And here are the results:

CVGI - down 10%

CNO - down 7.5%

FOE - no change (up 2 cents)

FIG - up 13%

OK, I was wrong, but all in all, it wasn't too bad. CVGI and CNO were down, but considering that both had 50% jumps just a few days ago, today's loss is pretty much nothing.

FOE was down more than 10% all morning long, then came back and finished in the +. Great sign after more then doubling last 14 days or so...
