With Billions at Stake, Trying to Expand the Meaning of ‘Renewable Energy’ By FELICITY BARRINGERPublished: May 24, 2009But industries are now pushing to have a growing number of other technologies categorized as renewable — or at least as environmentally advantageous. (This is a must read if like me you thought you were an alternative/renewable energy investor. I suspect we will see compromises here which will be good for existing industries but frustrating & possibly quite damaging for the alternative & future energy purists. Why can't we burn lobbyists as an alternative fuel?Ah well, 2 steps forward & one back, right?)
