I am writing about the 7 Noah Laws of whiich In 1991, a joint resolution of the United States congress called its principles "the bedrock of society from the dawn of civilization…" without which "the edifice of civilization stands in serious peril of returning to chaos" Public Law 102-14 :

The Seven Noahide Laws

Belief in G-d
Man, the weakest of creatures, is surrounded by forces of life and death far greater than himself. Confronted with the vastness of these universal forces, man might well try to ‘serve them’ in order to protect himself, and better his lot.The essence of life, however, is to recognize the Supreme Being who created the Universe and accept His laws with awe and love. We must remember that He is aware of all our deeds, rewarding goodness and punishing evil. We are dependent on Him, and to Him alone do we owe allegiance. To imagine that there could be any other power that could protect us or provide for our needs perverts the purpose of life, and, as history has shown, potentially unleashes untold forces of evil in ourselves, and in the world.

Respect G-d and Praise Him
When we feel disappointed with life, when things do not work out as they should, how easy it to point an accusing finger and blame…everyone…everything…even G-D. Loyalty and trust are crucial in life. To blame G-d, curse, or to curse others in His name, is an act of disloyalty - akin to treason. It is an act which undermines the basis of all order and stability, on which a just society must stand.

Respect Human Life
The record of man’s inhumanity to man begins with the story of Cain and Abel. Man is indeed his brother?s keeper. The prohibition against manslaughter (including abortion) comes to protect man from the bestial tendency which lies within him. Man the attacker, denies the sanctity of human life, and ultimately attacks G-d, who created us in His image.

Respect the Family
The Bible states, “It is not good for man to be alone,” so G-d made a helpmate for Adam and in marriage “He blessed them.” In a wholesome family, man’s creativity finds meaningful expression. Wholesome families are the cornerstone of healthy communities, nations, and societies. Nations which have condoned immorality - adultery, homosexuality, sodomy, incest - have never lasted long. Sexual immorality is the sign of an inner decay which spawns a ruthless society, bringing confusion into G-d’s life plan.

Respect Human Beings
Since our sustenance comes from G-d, we should seek to earn it honestly, with dignity, and not through false means. To violate the property of others, by robbing or cheating, is a fundamental attack on their humanity. This breeds anarchy, plunging mankind into the depths of selfishness and cruelty. It was for this sin, above all, that the Flood was brought upon the world.

Have a Judicial System
A robust and healthy legal system, administering justice fairly, creates a society worthy of G-d’s blessings. Establishing a system of judges, courts, and officials to maintain and enforce the law is a far-reaching responsibility. This precept translates the ideals of our personal life into a formal order for society at large. It is the extension and guarantee of all the preceding laws.

Respect All Creatures
G-d gives man “dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the heaven, over cattle, and over all of the earth.” We are caretakers of G-d’s creation. Ultimately our responsibility extends beyond our family, even beyond society, to include the world of nature. Eating meat so fresh that the animal is still alive, may be healthy, but it is cruel, even barbaric, displaying a decadent insensitivity to the pain of others. This law is the touchstone, if you will, that measures how well the other six laws are being observed. When man fulfills his potential, the whole of creation is nurtured and elevated to realize its goal. This transforms the world into a beautiful gem - a place where G-d can dwell.

1) Why?  Convince me of even a semi-plausible reason to.

2) I'm going to go out on a limb and auume you believe in the Christian god.  I can't possibly respect a diety that has done all that the Bible claims he has.

3) Murder is bad, yes.  But why it is you believe that this concept was invented with religion, I don't understand.

4) Explain why sodomy or homosexuality would damage families?  Just bitter because your wife won't give you any sodomy?

5) Because no one is more honest than those who claim to speak for God, right?

6) I'm glad that we have a Supreme Court to usually keep you guys in check when you try to force horribly immoral beliefs on others.

7) It's almost lunchtime.  I think I'm going to get a bacon cheeseburger just for you.

As I've said in other similar posts, this type of post does actually relate to investing for me.  As moral decay intensifies in the U.S. I believe that God will remove His blessings from our country.  This ultimately will lead to the downfall of our society taking our financial wealth with it.

C'mon people, everyone knows God isn't real.  It's a paternalistic fantasy produced by our pyschological desire for simplicity and order exploited by political leaders to maintain power.  I need money.  Does anyone know any good penny stocks Jesus would buy?

+1 I have to say that I would rather be on the Titanic with Chaimyl than BFMPitt based on their stated beliefs. Chaimyl, I respect you for stating your beliefs. The book of Jude correlates what happened in the time of Noah to what will happen in the end.

I feel pretty confident that Chaimyl would be much more likely to be elbowing some old ladies to get onto the lifeboats, so I guess you're hoping he'd clear a path for you.  After all, I'm sure he could convince himself that it was God's will that he do so.

1 I don't think it is possible to answer about belief in G-d in one or two lines however you asked for a semi-plausible reason. here are two countries that denied in belief in G-d Nazi Germany and Stalin Russia didn't believe in G-d and it ended with over 27 million people murdered because of them.

2 I am talking about G-d that created this world

3 Gong back to my first answer outlawing murder without the belief in G-D ss what happened in Russia and Germany

4 Sorry I will not get in to it

5 -7 LOL

What you write about me elbowing old ladies G-D willing i will never be put in to that situation

Comparing now to even 100 years ago when there were wars everyday we are a lot more at peace then before. Today it is a common practice that countries send their military to disaster areas to aid them using the military for peaceful acts. The US sent their big-deck carrier war ship USS Carl Vinson to Haiti for Relief

globalsailor Gut Voch to you basically the caps system is rigged it is extremely hard to get a good rating by just having a couple of amazing picks open you have to be able to time the market and if you are right then for example picking last week 30 Effs that short the market can get you up there

First off, I was wondering if you speak German, because I wasn't sure what the belt buckle on this nazi uniform says.  "Gott Mit Uns."  I'm assuming it's something to the effect of "Yay atheism!"  Right?

But even if we were to completely ignore the vast many reasons the nazi/commie line is absurd, ever as popular it may be, it still wouldn't help your argument at all even if it were true.  Charles Manson didn't believe in unicorns, but I'm pretty sure that isn't the reason he killed all those people.
