I'm rather disapointed  that  the  world  didn't  end,  I   spent   the  days  with someone  in retrospect  I  probably  would  have wished  I  hadn't,  but o  well.

Enough about me  crying  about me,  but  what's  the  deal  with Obama,  it's not often  I  listen to the lies coming out of his teleprompter and  when he  goes  im-promptu,  but  why  is  he looking to  punish  those  who  are looking to better  themselves  so as to help  those  who aren't ?

Oh sure,  it would be nice  to take care of  everyone,  but  come  on  Obama,  why  can't  you simply  do things  without  all the   rhetotical  bs  and  class  war fare ?  although  I   was  a  chid  during  Carter's  failed  presidency,   Obama  has  to be  close  to being  the worst  president  of  the modern times. 

Debt ceiling  breached,  record  deficits,  most  disfunctional  government,  and  while  he  can't  run again  for a third  term,  he's  yapping  his gums  as  if  he  needs approval  from  the masses ?   Diplomats  getting  killed.

Soon  if  not  already,  thanks  to some manipulation by  the treasury,   our  debt ceiling will  be  breached,  and whats  the  big  plan ?  there isn't  one other than  wait we'll save  a trillion because we  won't be  in  Iraq  and  pre-planned spending cuts,  the  Democrats  don't  want  to see occur.

If  they do eventually come together and approve  another debt  ceiling which  seems  inevitable,  if  you felt  sorry  for  Obama  coming in to supposedly clean up the mess,  you're really gonna  feel sorry  for  the next bozo  who will inherit  all  this  bs  debt  being rung up  at  record  low  interest rates.

What's  the country  to do ???  do  they offer debt  counseling and pre-packaged debt consolidation  services ?  maybe  we  can  issue  another  16  billion  in  new debt  at  record  30 year  interest  terms of  3%   maybe  that  will hold us  over  or at least do  something.

OPPS my  bad  I  meant  to  say  16  trillion....    can  you imagine  sixteen  trillion ?  do  we default ?    do  we wake  up tommorrow  and  tell  everyone  that  theres  a  new currency,  it's  blue  and  the old  green backs  are  worth  one  tenth  of what they once were if  you want to convert to the new blue.

Eventually  we  will run out of  people  and  things to tax ?  than what ?  do we invade Canada ?  Mexico ?   do  we  pull our pockets inside out and shrug  our shoulders  and  start blaming and looking to cast others as scape-goats  for  our  ruin.

If  you  are  rich  and  have a  good  paying  job,  you don't  feel  the sting  as  much as those who are poor,  yet manage  to obtain  lighters,  cigarettes,  ganja,  maybe  a  little harder candy or something soft to  tide  one over from the misery.

Is  there  any hope ?  are we  doomed  to fail ? 

2013  needs  to be the year  of  the citizen  saying enough....  to  government,  by saying no...

We need  to see  where  the  money  goes  and  maybe  just maybe  we need  to limit  government and  the reckless wasteful  spending.

A  long time ago  we  said  no to tyranny  with the  colonists  saying nay  and  dumping tea in  the Boston harbour,  we  bleed  and  won  our  independance,  it's  time  we  took back the reins  from those who think they are our masters.

It's  time  that  the current  generation  and  those from previous generations stopped robbing  our  children  of  their  future ! 

Prosperity  for  all,  not just  those lucky enough to work  in the government or those who won the sperm  lottery.

A  phrase  I  often  hear  is  that it can always be worse,  but  come on please gov-ment can you guys  please  do your  jobs that you get paid  extremely  well  and maybe  just maybe  do  the smart  and right thing  and  make  the tough  choices  so  that  our  tommorrows  will be brighter  not  darker.

Happiness

Not

Death

Debts

and

pain

This  I  humbly ask, not  for myself,  not  for my children, which  I seem to have none :( I know of.

But  because,  even without  any higher power or God like being,  it's  the  proper thing to do.

Or  we  could simply  destroy  it all,  blow it up....  sickness and greed.

 Personally I  would  like to see  all  those  in congress battle it out along with the president, vice president,  in some  crazy gladatorial  arena  either  to the death  or  by asking for mercy (ad digitum), to avoid  dying  and  conceding.

I know I won't  get  it, heck  my  vote seldom makes  a  difference,  but it would be nice if not entertaining.

Good post, Lordz, but I wouldn't put all the blame on the president.  Everyone wants to cut spending, as long as their stuff isn't cut.  Liberals want to cut defense spending, but conservatives are against it.  Conservatives want to cut entitlements, the Hollywood film industry, and PBS, but liberals won't allow it.  The AARP doesn't want medicare touched because it's what they fight for.  All groups, on both sides of the aisle, have things they want to protect. It's a mess. And those people brave enough to try to fix things, like Paul Ryan, won't be elected (see attack ads showing old people in wheelchairs being thrown over a cliff).

Masses just not recognized/accepted yet new game rules. Till now huge amount of ordinary people here in Midwest are trying to be honest. I think it is not because they are "better" than Russians/Indians/Mexicans, but because they have option to be honest. They are living so good relatively to people in developing world what they CAN be honest.
If nothing will change: First, standard of living will going down to hell (in meaning of Americans). Second, masses will accept rules of this perversive life. Is another scenario possible? Sure. US will bomb some place. Really doesn't matter who is an enemy. US will need create "world size crisis" to avoid catastrophy. Only way to keep US afloat - it is a WAR.
As you see I do NOT think democracy will prosper without blood and I have NOT had illusion "elites" will look for good order ("honest politician" is a fair story personage).
Only question is a time frame: 3, 5, 10, 20 or 50 years? Choose your own horizon. My bid on WAR in nearest 3 years.

We had trillion-dollar-a-year expenses added onto our existing expenditures with the wars, and less revenues via tax cuts thrown in on top.  That situation takes some time for the country to work its way out of.  Republicans argue the tax cuts are paid for via resulting economic growth; if that's the case then why are Republicans worried about the debt?  Isn't that something we'll grow out of too?

 

Try to look through the political bumper sticker slogans.  The truth usually lies somewhere in the grey area between the black and white extremes.

We  are told to be patient,  don't worry about the debt or how they are mispending  billions of dollars,  stealing  the future so that we can pretend  things  are fine today.

This is  leadership  gone wrong.

He spent  his  4 th year caimpaigning,  instead  of  looking for common ground,  but  I  can't  really blame  Obama,  he's  not as smart  as  people think he is, nor  does he have  the background  to  manage  a lemonade stand.

He's  no  JFK,  maybe not even  on par  with  Bush  JR.

Where has  he  fixed anything ?  other than  make  things worse  while   looking  like  he's  going  to play  robin hood,  take  from  the  productive  to  force non productivity and  making  things  more  costly.

His presidency, reminds me of someone  going  to the emergency room  for  a  stomach ache,  and  waking up castrated with a  huge  bill  for  the operation.

Raising  taxes  a   few  percentage  with the illusion that will make it all better  is  about as ridiculous as  Obama's  dual election wins.

I know  lets  blame it  on something else.  If by chance a  zombie  plague  was  to wipe out everyone  in  D.C.  at least than  we'd  have a legitimate excuse as to why  things  are being  mismanaged.

But  at least  we  don't  have  this issue:

But if  he  was a  father  to  a  nation, he'd  be  the kind  to  listen  to  the  no good  crying  youngster  son  and  punish  the older  productive  son to  make  the  young son happy.

They had a  funny  show on comedy central  with many a  black  comedians  cat williams  was  funny  as  heck  talking up Obama,  sadly  many feel the guy can walk on water, but what he can't do is  govern,  manage,  or  do anything  that doesn't  involve governmental  force.
