For those grasping for signs of a prolonged rally, the Yankees' World Series victory is another data point.

This article from the WSJ earlier this week shows that the economy has generally done well after Yankees victories (and Phillies losses).

Rather than as an economic analysis tool, Yankees fans can use this story to enhance their joy...Phillies fans can use this to form some sort of Goldman Sachs/New York Yankees/US government conspiracy theory.

- Anand Chokkavelu (TMFBomb), who notes that Goldman Sachs and the Yankees are both from New York...oooooh!
