This article and letter made me laugh regardless of my opinion of Whole Foods. I think those of us that have worked retail can understand his pent up feelings.

Funny how I have to read a link from the U.K. to find out something that happened a two-hour drive from me.

The e-mail makes me wonder how much of it is legit and how much is just a crazy poor hire simply spewing bile.

BTW... Cato... I sent you a message on Facebook but you don't need to reply to it.  The phrase I was looking for was "economies of scale."

I figured.  It doesn't look like you use it often, but I was desperate trying to remember that phrase and was coming up blank for hours.

I mentioned it to a buddy of mine, I think on a Friday, who called me back the following Monday, who greeted my "hello" with a loud, "economies of scale!"

I wonder if this guy will be happy anywhere he works.  For sure, he has not earned my respect.

This guy just destroyed his chances of getting hired. Anywhere.

Maybe he is right about Whole Foods. I really don't know. I don't work there, I don't shop there, I don't own the stock, and I don't intend to (do any of these three).

But 90% of employers google their job applicants. And most don't hire people who speak ill about previous employers. Ask anyone in HR.

Glad you posted this Cato! Oh man. So messed up. (The huge string of personal attacks against other employees at the end? Holy cow.) I also found it amusing though. This person sure has a way with words. Although I do hope I never encounter this person, I think. ;)
