Zombulator 1.01.10...Time to Eat Pancakes as America Shuts Down
You Knew...You Felt...We Now Shut Down Government and few will have much to do!!!!!
Ogden » Weber County commissioners are considering closing the Weber County Justice Court to save money.
The move would leave four cities that prosecute cases in the county court with no place to go. Marriott-Slaterville, Hooper, West Haven and Huntsville each file their cases with the Weber court.
A well-liked eatery in East Brainerd has closed it's doors and yes, you can blame it on the economy.
Claydough's Pizza just could not get enough of the local economic pie to stay open, leaving a family and several employees with a bleak outlook this holiday season.
Two years ago Clay Warren and his family lived the American Dream of starting their own business. They used savings and some loans to open their pizzaria at the corner of East Brained and Graysville Roads. Claydough's Pizza developed a loyal base of customers, but the tanking economy has eaten away at the family's slice of life.
"We're very scared about that just because we don't know what to do, it's a tough place to find a job," Warren said.
The problem with a Zombulation policy is that not only do businesses and government shut down.....there are almost no jobs available when one looses their livlihood. There are millions of small business owners like Clay Warren who are losing family incomes but never make the unemployment rolls because they are independent contractors.
For some this might be a good time to eat pancakes and brag about how many flat screen TVs they have....because soon the Zombulator could take all we have unless we restructure.
None of this was hard to predict....just difficult to believe that it could actually happen.
