Well, I've been long Apple, both in real life and on CAPS, for several years now. I first green-thumbed Apple five years ago, but never wrote a pitch ... until today!
Simply put, Apple has been phenominally successful over the last decade. They led the "MP3" player revolution, then the smart phone revolution, and now the tablet revolution.
Eventually they will stumble. Eventually they will fall. Eventually, Apple will cease to exist. Could happen tomorrow, but I wouldn't bet on it.
With a trailing P/E of 15.72 and a PEG ratio of .66, it's hard to call Apple expensive. In fact, I'd say that's pretty cheap for arguably the best tech company this century has seen.
