I am a Noobie, but here I go...
AAPL keeps coming out with revolutionary ideas concerning how to market their junk... I call it junk because I don't buy apple products (prefer cheaper, customizable stuff myself). With that said, they're very good at making their crap look nice and are very good at advertising. Most of the people I know buy AAPL.
With time, I expect this bubble to burst miserably, but for now it is doing very well. It may last for many years to come. As soon as AAPL gets greedy and starts really selling cheap crap for high prices (which will probably happen... eventually), I think things look up.
...Some related stocks...
Another stock to keep in mind is the Taiwan based EMC who produces about 60% of the silicon based stuff for AAPL's iPhones etc. EMC's success is tied with AAPL and I believe AAPL is also tied with EMC. EMC owns a sister company called VMWare (ticker: VMW) which specializes in big data analytics...
...Could it be that VMW shares its big data analytics with one of the top-selling companies? o-O I think so which is why I believe that AAPL will continue to outperform for many years to come as well as EMC and VMW.
The Motley Fool's top dog [forgot his name XD] and Cramer from Mad Money announced that VMW has been outperforming analyst expectations for many years and that it has yet to reach its potential. With the release of the latest news, EMC also beat analyst expectations! Partners in arms waiting and ready to take over the technology world? I think so...
It may look like a bubble, but I believe that all three of these companies are poised to grow way beyond record proportions before they begin to turn around. There's a lot of serious hype out there for these companies. It just doesn't seem likely that they will be popping any time soon.
This is my noobish opinion, (and this message has been brought to you for your entertainment and information and should not be considered a suggestion to buy or anything like that... anything else I'd have to say, if I were a professional, to legally cover my ass insert here please!)
