The power supply infrastructure in the entire world needs updating and new building more than ever.The tremendous depth and experience in the power generation,distribution and manufacturing fields make ABB one of the most eminent contenders for the avalanche of new global projects. Their expertise and presence in over 100 countries and their unique marriage of nuclear-,high voltage transmission- and robotics- technology paired with very competitive lead times are frostings on the cake. The very advantageous elimination of the asbestos liability by their subsidiary in the US should act as an accelerator for their potentially huge North American activities and earnings.
