AbitibiBowater was formed when Abitibi and Bowater merged, if you can believe it. They produce a variety of paper and lumber products.

AbitibiBowater has entered the most important crisis of its young history. The company is unable to borrow more money to modernize its paper-producing installations. And all employees are now looking for an inevitable bankrupcy. Massive long term debt of ABH is near six billions dollars and the corporation needs a real miracle to save the ship.

It is not a good idea to buy some shares of of AbitibiBowater because the company is going right at the dump.
