CS3 released today. They own content creation in almost every format. Adobe is the third leg of the holy triumvirate of technology companies --Microsoft, Google and Adobe. These are the three most important companies in technology right now. They each dominate their respective niches and Adobe is on the move to consilidate the remaining creative niches they don't already dominate and to monetize their Flash Video technology by moving it to set-top players with optional DRM. That last part is all speculation.
