AEO Last 12 months:

Insider Buys: $46,973,914 Insiders Sells $1,098,486,384

NET INSIDER SELLS: $1,098,51,512,343

Yep, the insiders have unloaded NET ONE BILLION in 12 months. That is a lot of jeans, shirts etc.... to cover a billion in insider sells.

You have to wonder is this a company that makes it's money selling clothes in a very, very crowded retail space or unloading stock on fools?

The insiders have bet a BILLION he is going to fall. I would bet with the people who work at AEO.

I believe those numbers are the total of all buys/sells, not the last 12 months. Look at the dates on the chart. They go back 5 years. Most of the sells came from the Schottenstein family, which founded the company.

Jay Schottenstein has been a big buyer of the stock lately.

A REC to you. I goofed, very sorry for the mis-information. I hate retail in general and I have no position in this stock. This is a very crowded space. A billion in insider selling is enough for me to stay away.
