American Eagle is struggling like most other special retailers with the ecnomy struggling, but they are a well run company with above average margins and plenty of cash on its balance sheet. It will ride out the rough times and be positioned to capitalize once the economy recovers from the oncoming recession and Americans start spending freely like they love to do.
