I have owned this fund from $18.78. This fund has dropped some 25% for the 6 or so weeks that I have owned it. As a reference other similar funds like DOP and BFD only lost 11.5% during the same time frame.
Also looking at the graphs other similar funds tend to rise and fall at somewhat the same percentage. I noticed with ADG that it will rally with the market but at declines it losses over twice as much. That is a sure race to zero. Something seems broken in this model. I have severe concern about the competency of those running this fund. I have tried to call and apparently they have so many calls a machine asked me to leave a message. I did but still did not get a return call.
As soon as the market rallies a I will sell even at a substantial loss and put the proceeds left in the other 2 funds where I may have a prayer in earning back some of my losses.
i'm looking at the way AGD has tanked since the 2012 election - it's at $5.05 now (!) - and thinking it's pretty spot-on evidence of what you say here about the fund's movements. and a nightmare for me. i might have to follow your lead and get the hell out, fast.
