Beautiful dividend over 8% and a dividend 5 Yr Growth Rate of 18%. P/E at 5 year low. Provides global diversification. The Motley fool have risked their own money on this and a Global Gains recommendation, at much higher prices than I am paying. Trading at 1.1 times tangible book value. CAPS 5 star rating. Did I mention I love dividends?

Just to play devil's advocate:The beautiful dividend may not be so beautiful when it gets whacked and the P/E likely deserves to be low given the uncertainty that permeates the entire financial system. The fact that the Fool's Global Gains is pumping the stock does not do much to encourage me, since they are getting spanked by the S&P at the moment. Just an alternative view.

Perhaps i'm wrong, but I thought that the Fools stopped putting Money at risk on their recommendations in Early 2000-ish.

I found the link on their page declaring that they closed down all real money portfolios. Turns out it was 2003. They may have changed their minds since then, but i'm doubtful. I'm assuming it wasn't an economical use of money for them.http://www.fool.com/portfolios/rulebreaker/2003/rulebreaker030218.htm?source=EDSTRBTo get back on topic, I bought AIB multiple months ago, wish I never had, and have mentally written it all off as a total loss.
