If what is being said about this company is true, that it is looking into suing us, the American tax payers, then it needs and deserves to fail.

The American Government deserves to be sued, for many reasons, this is just one more. AIG did not cause the financial collapse, the American people did, in conjunction with banks that committed fraud. American people that commited fraud too. So what is your problem with AIG? American people, not necessarily tax payers though, have been getting the biggest bailout, free money left and right, where is your outrage about that? Forgiven debts extended through 2013, so everyone might as well just stiff the banks again this year and run out on their obligations. AIG is not suing tax payers, and neither is Hank Greenberg, Hank Greenberg is suing a Govenment that broke the law, and you either believe in the law or you don't. The Government gained over $22B while using AIG as its instrument to bail out the banks. Is it OK for the Government to profit when it did something it wasn't legally empowered to do? I could care less if AIG had gone bankrupt or you throw Hank Greenberg in jail. Two wrongs do not make a right. The Government has been protecting their interests in banks from day one, with all favorable terms, but AIG is painted as the villain, when they were victims of fraud from banks.

Justice and fairness doesn't have much to do with stockpicking ;)
